Formal letter

Dr Sr,

I am writing this letter because I was wondering if you could send me more information about the packages that you have in your website, especially about the African safari. Could you tell me the prices of the whole package and what this includes?
This is the first time that I travel abroad with my husband and we do not know anything about the things that we have to take with us so, I was wondering if there is any weight limit.

I am looking forward to receiving your answer.

Yours faithfully

María Jesús Molina Mellado

Rubik's cube

There you have a brief explanation of the relationship that we make between a salad bowl and a rubik's cube in terms of culture.

Diet should be banned

Have you ever considered going on a diet? Well, here you have a TV show that will show you the both sides of going on a diet.
You can be in favour or against them, but do you think that they should be banned?

Watch our video and you can find some opinions about it.

Expo tattoo Santiago

During the summer I went to an expo tattoo in Santiago, there were people from many places around the world; Spain, Brazil, Chine, were just some of the countries which had stands inside the exhibition; there you could find people getting tattoos, having some information about it and there were also some pictures made by the artist and even you could get clothes from the different stores.

At the beginning of the event you had to paid for a ticket, and if you wanted or if you had an appointment scheduled for getting a tattoo, you had to go to the corresponding stand.
I wanted to get a tattoo, so I went to the stand and I stand there for at least 5 or 6 hours; at the same time, there were more stand - about 32- where you could find more people getting tattoos.

Finally, a band started to play in the central stage, while a group of skaters were showing their abilities with the board.

International Women's day.

Women's day is a commemoration of women’s fight against discrimination, in order to let them participate and be part of society. In our country this particular day it is not as important as it should be: actually, retail stores are the ones that remind us about this day, but in a more commercial way. We need to know what is the real purpose of this day and celebrate it as it should be.

Big stores show us the image that in days like these we have to buy a present to our female relatives—mother, daughter, etc.—in order to show them that we are grateful for what they do for us and that they are important for us.

But we need to go beyond the commercial ideas and be more reflective about this day. We cannot be part of the "system" and be so superficial, thinking that this day is just because women are the most beautiful creation on earth. Women's day is celebrated to remember how women had to fight against discrimination, against segregation and sexism. In earlier times, women couldn’t even give their opinion about certain topics, since just men had the voice to choose or take decisions.

Nowadays we need to create awareness in society, ending with a superficial day, a day that has important foundations that unfortunately people don't know.
